Yggdrasil

The world tree of the Vikings, comprised nine worlds and an array of animals. The squirrel, Ratatosk, climbs up and down the tree. He trades bad news and gossip between the eagle and the serpent, Nidhogg, who gnaws at the roots. The four deer; Dåin, Dvalin, Dunøyr and Duratro eat the foliage. Circled around Midgard is the serpent Jormundgandr who will kill Tor during Ragnarok.
